Food

Lower House Bed and Breakfast serve delicious, Aga cooked meals freshly prepared using home-grown or locally obtained produce.

Meals are served in a large dining room which features oak beams and a huge inglenook fireplace.

Breakfast

Breakfast is usually served from 8am and consists of a selection of fruit juices, fruit compote, cereals, and yogurts. This is followed by a traditional cooked breakfast or lighter options. We use locally produced, award winning sausages and bacon and our own hens provide all the eggs! To complete the meal, toast spread with homemade jam and marmalade or local honey, followed by tea or coffee will set you up for the day.

Evening Meals

Evening meals consist of two courses followed by coffee. We are happy to provide dinner in the evening by prior arrangement. Please contact us for more information

As we are not licensed, guests are welcome to bring their own wine. Dinner is usually served at 7pm.

With notice, guests with specific food requirements or allergies are catered for.
