Lower House, 8 miles west of Ludlow, is a comfortable, family run, former farmhouse - parts of which date back to the early 17th century. It has inglenooks, log fires and oak beams and is set in over an acre of beautiful, tranquil gardens. It is situated off a quiet country lane amidst the unspoilt rolling hills of the South Shropshire - an ideal place to relax and unwind!
Our area of the Welsh Marches, where Shropshire, Herefordshire and Wales join together, is an area of outstanding natural beauty. It is rich in historical sites and has the largest concentration of castles in the world! For the walker, Offa's Dyke, the Long Mynd and the Mortimer Trail are close by.
Lower House Bed and Breakfast is ideally located for exploring the beautiful surrounding countryside. The interesting historic towns of Ludlow, Hereford, Ironbridge and Shrewsbury are all within easy driving distance.
